Anything goes with weddings now. You can have a casual affair or go all out with a traditional wedding. The weddings I have enjoyed the most are those that are simple, but you can see the love of the bride and groom, just by the way they look at one another.
Bridal Garter by Crochetnmore - This pretty garter is crocheted with bedspread weight cotton and a size 7 steel hook. You'll also need a ribbon to run through the stitches. Use blue and you'll have the "something borrowed, something blue."
Bridal Pouch/Purse - Crochet Memories created this pretty pattern that is now archived. You'll need size 10 crochet cotton thread and a size 8 steel crochet hook to crochet this pretty bridal purse.You'll also need 1 yard of 1/4" ribbon - (optional) and glue for finishing. The finished bag will measure 4 1/2" x 2 1/4."
Butter Cream Wedding Cake - The cake is offered by Berroco Yarn. It is wonderful. The layers are created so that they can protect china dishware afterwards. Berroco Ultra Alpaca was used to design the cake. You'll need a E and G hook. Crochet this keepsake, you won't be sorry. The cake would work well if the bride prefers something for dessert other than cake or use it as a table centerpiece. It would make a great shower centerpiece too.
Crochet Wedding Accessories - Mom's Love of Crochet offers this free patterns for a wedding cake topper with bells, a lacy sachet, a wedding ring doily, floral trim for vases for the tables, a potpourri bag, and a wedding photo frame.

Fingerless Bridal Glove - This free pattern is offered by Crochetnmore and are a lovely accent to any wedding gown. The bridal glove is created using size 10 bedspread weight cotton and a size 2 steel hook. The glove extends from the wrist and is held on at one finger. You'll also need some ribbon, sewing thread and a snap to complete the glove.
Flower Bouquet Cover - If you create your own bouquet this pattern will come in handy. The original is crocheted with TLC Amore yarn and a size H hook. You'll also need some craft wire and wire cutters to finish the project.This is offered by Donna's Crochet Designs.
Stephanie's Crocheted Lace Wedding Garter - By Frogged KnitsTo Crochet, for this pretty garter, you'll need size 30 cotton thread, a size 7 steel crochet hook, 1/4" wide blue ribbon, and thin elastic cord. The width for this garter can be customized to fit the bride. The finished size is for a 24" wide thigh, but will stretch a bit.
Wedding Bell Pattern - By The Learn to Crochet site, this is a nice pattern for any bride. I'm not familiar with the custom, but many brides are given a wedding bell to go with her bridal ensemble. It is hung down the dress. A close relative usually gives her the bell. Even if you don't follow this tradition, it would be a nice gift to give the bride as a keepsake or used for decoration on tables etc.
This bell is created with size 10 crochet cotton thread and a size 2.5 mm hook. You'll also need ribbon for the bell.
Wedding Favors Basket - The Learn How to Crochet site offers another pretty pattern for a wedding basket, but it has an entirely different style. It is rated Easy. You'll need size 20 crochet cotton and a 1.5 mm crochet hook.
