Free Crochet Towel Topper Patterns

Crocheted towel toppers are fun to crochet. Here you will find about 25 free crochet towel topper patterns. The following free patterns are quick and easy too, even a beginner can tackle them. You only need about an ounce of yarn, so you can use up small balls of scrap yarn from other projects if you have them.

For all projects you will need 1/2 of a dish towel. A few use the entire dish towel. For some of the projects you will need to hem the towel. Some of the patterns show a technique where you don't have to do this.

These make nice gifts, because they are so handy to wipe your hands on in the kitchen. The patterns can be crocheted quickly for when you need a last minute gift. Make several for yourself too. They are great bazaar sellers.

The towel topper is created worsted weight cotton yarn and a size G crochet hook. You'll also need a 1" and a 2" cabone ring. This would make a nice towel topper for Christmas or all year round.

To crochet this pattern, you'll need a size 1 steel crochet hook and a size G hook. It is crocheted with 4-ply cotton yarn. You'll also need a button to complete the project.

The pattern is crocheted with 1 oz of worsted weight yarn and a size H crochet hook. She used Caron Simply Soft yarn.

This is another extra pretty towel topper. The towel hangs on a concealed crochet chain, so you can wash the towel without washing the topper everytime. I think this is a great idea. You don't have to cut the towel this way either. She designed the topper with worsted weight yarn and a size G hook. You'll also need a button to complete the project.

lucybell21, I want to crochet some of these for Christmas gifts too. All I need to do is go out and buy some kitchen towels and figure out what colors everyone's kitchen is done in. They are so quick and easy, I could make several. Thanks for commenting.
