You'll find a long list of free crochet slipper patterns here along with a description of what you will need to crochet them. Slippers are a popular project to crochet. The slippers will keep everyone's feet warm this winter.

The only problem that I have found with crocheting slippers is that they can be slippery on certain types of floor finishes. It is a good idea to use fabric paint on the bottoms to prevent the problem. You just need to apply dots or you can get creative and paint hearts or anything you'd like.

Always remember that if you find a pattern that you love, but it isn't in your size, you can often make them smaller or larger with just a change of hook size. Slippers are made to stretch, so you don't have to have them fit perfectly.

One of these patterns uses the purchased soles. If you prefer to use these you can. It will just be a little more expensive to crochet them.

The free pattern will fit all sizes for the entire family. Moda Dea Sassy Stripes yarn.You will need to download the pattern.

These are backless slippers that are just beautiful. You will need to download the pattern and sign-up to be able to get the pattern. They are created with worsted weight yarn and include sizes small, medium and large. The pattern is rated Intermediate.

These are crocheted with Speed Crochet and a size O hook. The pattern includes sizes Small, Medium and Large.

These slippers are created with Bernat So Soft yarn, stuffing and wiggle eyes. Fits an 8" foot.

These are simple to crochet. They are created by holding 2 strands of yarn together and using a size J crochet hook. Sizes are for both women and men.

The slippers are created with two strands of yarn held together. This project is crocheted in all dc.

She used Armytage yarn to complete this crochet project. Armytage is a bulkier weight yarn. It takes two skeins of yarn to complete the project.

This pattern fits a child's foot size 7" long. You will need both a size H and I hook and Red Heart Super Saver yarn or another worsted weight yarn to crochet the project.

These are extra nice slippers, but you will need Boye slipper sock bottoms. These will fit women's sizes 6-10. You'll also need worsted weight yarn.

You will need two colors of knitting worsted weight yarn and a size H hook. Includes sizes small, medium and large. This is a nice pattern.

Includes women's sizes 5-10 and of course uses Lily Sugar and Cream yarn. You'll also need a size F hook. This is a pretty pattern with posies.

She used a size K hook and 3-ply yarn to create this pretty pattern. You will also need 2 buttons.

Crochet the pattern for Mary Jane slippers for adults with Aran weight yarn. She asks that you don't use the slippers for resale.

The pattern uses knitting worsted weight yarn and a size H hook. She suggest using a purchased insole or cutting foam to fit the bottom of the slipper. The pattern will fit a size 10-11 inch foot.

The slippers are crocheted with sports weight yarn and a size H hook. It is rated Intermediate to Advance, so the pattern isn't for beginners. The pattern uses a lot of front posts and back post stitches.

You will need 4-ply yarn, a size G crochet hook and a pair of inner soles to complete this project. Also need is 1/8 yd of turquoise felt and scraps of black and white for the eyes. She didn't state the finished size, but it appears to be worn on a lady sized foot.

This is a great pattern for the beginner at crochet, because it has step-by-step illustrations of each row. She forgot to add the yarn type and hook size though, but my guess is it is worsted weight yarn and a size G hook.

The slippers were created with Patons Canadia yarn in both black and white, a size G hook, and you'll also need 4 wiggly eyes unless you want to crochet the eyes yourself. Fits a 5 1/2 - to 9 1/2 inch foot.
