Crochet creates beautiful jewelry because of the chains that are used in the technique. Here you'll find several free crochet jewelry patterns.

If you haven't crocheted with beads before, it is much simpler than you'd think. Just string the beads on the thread or yarn before you start to crochet. Pull down a bead and use it in each stitch that specifies to do so. I put off trying this technique for awhile, worrying that it would be hard. I couldn't believe how easy it was once I tried it.

Some of these projects call for beads and others don't. Have fun creating you own jewelry for yourself and gifts. Most projects are quick to crochet.

You will be able to use leftover yarn or thread for most of these projects.

You can use thread, sports weight yarn or sock yarn to make this pretty choker. She used Luster Sheen and only 1 ounce is needed. A size F hook is used.

You'll need 1 skein of DMC Pearl Cotton, 33 glass beads and a yard of ribbon to make the necklace. A size 7 steel crochet hook was also used. The designer of this pattern asks that you use it for personal use only and not use it to sell the final project.

This choker fits around the neck and hence the name for it. The choker would look good with a dressy dress. It was created with Venetian motifs and looks very Victorian. She used Southmaid Crochet Cotton.

The necklace is a beauty. You'll need 80 size 6/0 seed beads, lobster claw closure, size C crochet hook, 1-2 skeins of metallic embroidery floss and a pendant.

This page takes you step-by-step with photos and instructions on how to crochet this pretty bracelet. DMC Pearl Cotton was used in this project. She says any type of similar thread could be used.

The pretty flower bracelet was created with worsted weight yarn and a small amount of Microspun yarn by Lion. You'll also need a size F crochet hook. It features 3 flowers on the top of the bracelet.

This is a quick and easy ring that you can create with scraps of size 10 cotton thread. The pattern shown uses pink and green, but you could use any flower colors. You'll also need a size 1 steel crochet hook. This pattern is rated a Medium for difficulty.

This quick and easy bracelet uses a ribbon, so it can fit any size. You'll need bedspread weight cotton and a size 1 crochet hook to complete the project.

This pretty necklace is crocheted with wire. You will need to wear fabric gloves to complete the project, because the wire can be hard on your hands, but is surprisingly easy to work with. You'll need 24 gauge wire and a size C crochet hook. You'll also need small beads, a clasp and wire cutters and pliers to complete the project.

This is a good project when you want something quick and easy to crochet. It also uses only tiny scraps of yarn, so you'll probably have on hand what you need. Sports weight yarn was used in the project.

This project was created just by single crocheting around various sizes of plastic rings and then connecting the rings together. Pearl crochet cotton was used in the project, but any cotton yarn can be used.

This ring is a super simple project using size 10 crochet thread in any color of your choice. You'll also need a size 6 crochet hook.

This is a ruffly ring that is crocheted with size 10 thread in two colors. It is different and very pretty.

Crocheted medallions are attached together to form this pretty choker. The choker is 18" long. It is crocheted with Berroco Boho Colors yarn and a size F hook.
